How to Reach IIIT-Delhi

From Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) - Terminal 3 (Approx. 16 km, 30-45 minutes)

By Taxi/Car

• Take a prepaid taxi or use ride-hailing services like Ola or Uber. The drive takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
• Route: Follow the Outer Ring Road → take the exit toward Nelson Mandela Marg → continue to Okhla Industrial Estate → reach IIIT Delhi.

By Metro

• Board the Airport Express Line from Terminal 3 and travel to the New Delhi Metro Station.
• Switch to the Violet Line (towards Raja Nahar Singh) at New Delhi Metro Station, and get off at Okhla NSIC station, which is the nearest to IIIT Delhi.
• From Okhla NSIC, you can take an auto-rickshaw or cab (5–10 minute ride).

From New Delhi Railway Station (Approx. 16 km, 35-50 minutes)

By Taxi/Car

• Use a prepaid taxi or a ride-hailing service like Ola or Uber. The journey takes around 35-50 minutes.
• Route: Take Ring Road → continue via Mathura Road → Okhla Industrial Estate → reach IIIT Delhi.

By Metro

• At New Delhi Railway Station, take the Yellow Line metro (towards HUDA City Centre) and change at the Central Secretariat.
• Switch to the Violet Line (towards Raja Nahar Singh) and alight at Okhla NSIC station.
• From Okhla NSIC, take an auto-rickshaw or cab to IIIT Delhi.

From Nizamuddin Railway Station (Approx. 9 km, 20-30 minutes)

By Taxi/Car

• Take a taxi or use a ride-hailing service like Ola or Uber. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes.
• Route: Take Mathura Road → Okhla Industrial Estate → reach IIIT Delhi.

By Metro

• Take an auto-rickshaw or taxi to the Lajpat Nagar metro station.
• From Lajpat Nagar, board the Violet Line (towards Raja Nahar Singh) and get off at Okhla NSIC station.
• Take an auto-rickshaw or cab from Okhla NSIC to IIIT Delhi.
